chocolate cake cookies
These were today's after-school snack at our house. And the only way they could be easier is if I scooped the cookie dough right out of a pre-made cookie dough bucket. They're so quick to make. And, well ... very, very chocolately. If you're into that sort of thing.
CHOCOLATE CAKE COOKIES
1 box chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil (I prefer olive oil)
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350 for 8-9 minutes. Yield: About 3 dozen cookies.

I make another version of these except that you use the funfetti cake mix and they taste great!! so simple!

Oh this could be really fun for the kids. I was thinking white cake and mini m&m's or yellow cake and butterscotch chips or yellow cake and chocolate chips.
Thanks Becky, gotta love this one...
This recipe is really similar to one I use for homemade oreos. Just omit the chocolate chips, make the cookies smaller (if you want) and then sandwich with cream cheese frosting. Yum!
Gonna try these cookies tomorrow. I have so many cake mixes taking up space in my pantry.
I just love all your recipes. They're like homestyle comfort foods that my family loves to eat. We'll be trying these cookies for an after school snack too! Keep the recipes coming. I love them all! Thank you Becky.
These sounds delicious! Thanks so much!!

Mix all ingredients except egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into potato mixture. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle on topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Topping: 1 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup butter 1 cup chopped pecans
thanks for the recipe!! I loved how easy they were. I made it for my family yesturday and they are almost GONE. My husband put them on his favorites list. Thanks again!
I love this recipe, but if you want to make it a little more health friendly you can use applesauce for the oil and 3 egg whites instead of the eggs or 1/2 c. of eggbeaters. They taste the exact same. My kids love them.
made these on saturday and, oh my goodness! they were so easy and my boys woke up smelling chocolate and smiling!! took them to our last soccer game, and the kids and parents went nuts!! thank you! i am a very popular mom right now!!

these are very very yummy! I made some with a "cherry bit" white cake with chocolate chips and they are a little sweet but none the less very good...i used the super moist cake mix so i had to end up cooking it a little longer it was more like 12 minutes...what type of cake mix did you use for the chocolate??
P.s. I have tried tons of recipes on your site and i've bookmarked about everyone (^_^) i love how you try and test them and put the picture up! THANX!!

Tried these today after I got off of work! You were totally right. SUPER EASY and SUPER YUMMY!
I made a batch for a fund raising bake sale however my hubbie ate half of them!
Good thing I bought extra mix to make more.
when they come out of the oven, pop an Andes mint on top of each cookie and after a minute--spread the melted chocolate over the cookie. I like to wait til they harden (in the fridge/freezer a few minutes) and the end result is delectable!!!
these were so easy and so good. made them for my son's baseball teams bake sale.
looking forward to more recipes...
I just made these tonight and they were super fast and delicious! Thanks for sharing!
WAIT a minute!
