toffee apple dip

I absolutely love this dip. It's a great appetizer or snack. Just be careful ... it's a little addicting. Thank you Sarah for introducing us to this (several years ago). We've made it a million times since. Okay, so not quite a million. But a lot.

PS - Some food tastes a heck of a lot better than it photographs. This is an example of food that is NOT photogenic. : )

TOFFEE APPLE DIP

Mix the following together & serve with apple slices:

8 oz. cream cheese
½ c. brown sugar
¼ c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Skor toffee bits

This is a really great dip (although the time I had it, it was made with Heath bars instead of Skor). THanks for sharing such wonderful recipes!

I also have this exact same recipe and make it for my family about as often as I recommend it ... which is a lot! I've seen a similar recipe that calls for nuts, but nothing beats toffee bits. Thank you for posting yummy and delicious recipes on your site. Not to mention being very inspiring. I read your blog regularly, but this is my first comment. ;-)

Hi Becky -

Just wanted to let you know I made the Garlic Chicken Farfalle recipe last night and my family LOVED it! My teenage boys thought it was awesome! What i think is so funny is that they wanted to know if i got that recipe from "the lady you're always reading on the computer and using her recipes!!!" That made me bust a gut laughing! My 17-year-old brought a friend home from school for lunch today and they were eating the leftovers, and i overhead his friend say, "Wow, this is so good. I can only imagine how good it must have been last night!" It made my heart smile!

Thanks Becky - just wanted you to know that you've obviously become a part of our household!!

I have a similar recipe, minus the skor toffee bits. I think I will have to add those. Great to take to my scrapbooking weekend coming up with the girls!

OMG, I made this tonight, and besides my picky 3 year old, we all loved it. Yes, there's some sugar, but it's a great addition to the fruit. Thanks for the recipe.

Just wondering if it would still taste good with the apples squirted with lemon juice (so they don't turn brown).

I made this as a snack before Valentine's dinner. We had friends over for dinner and games tonight. Everyone loved the dip. Some ate more of the dip then apples with each bite! After dinner and dessert we all gathered around the dip again! Everyone left with the recipe, smiles, happy hearts, and love! Many Thanks!

Hi Becky- This dip sounds fabulous!! I am unfortunately on a diet and wanted to share a dip with you that is amazingly low in calories and delicious. You need a small packet of fat free sugar free vanilla pudding and a 16oz. container of fat free sour cream. Mix them and you are ready to eat it with apple slices. I know the combination sounds disgusting but it is super delicious. That is my scrapping snack that replaced the M&M's and chips. Hope you try it and love it as much as I do.

Toss your apples in a cup of pinapple juice instead of lemon juice. I've had this dip before and it's always a favorite1
